Since beginning to DJ under
the HomeAlone brand in 2012, Scott Anderson's career has elevated incredibly, having featured heavily on radio networks KISS, BBC Radio 1XTRA and Westside FM amongst others.
He has supported acts such as Lily Allen (Music Hall, Aberdeen), Drake (02 Arena,
London), Mike Skinner of The Streets and Anderson .Paak. He has also played festivals ranging from Belladrum in Inverness to the Wireless Festival in London.
Although predominantly a Hip-Hop DJ, Anderson's sets have been known to include
music as diverse as Childish Gambino, Diana Ross, Franz Ferdinand, Chic and
Kanye West; R&B, hip-hop, pop, soul, disco, indie - anything and everything
that’s upbeat. Anderson strips away the pretentious veneer associated with DJ’ing
and brings it back to what it’s all about - getting people dancing.
Anderson currently holds down several residencies across Scotland in major towns and cities such as Aberdeen and Edinburgh. He is also the creator of Aberdeen based brand "Hot Sauce", mixing good music with incredible food.
